Spell Check Excel As You Type
In the review tab there is an option spelling as shown in the image.
Spell check excel as you type. If for some reason this capability is not enabled in your system proceed as following. By default excel only looks at a single sheet when checking spelling. Click on options under file menu.
Check spelling and correct automatically with autocorrect options. Click file options proofing autocorrect options. Turn on spell checks in excel.
In the pop up window that opens select proofing. If you want to automatically correct the wrong spelling you can specify the autocorrect options. You can tell it to spell check multiple sheets at once with a simple trick.
Under when correcting spelling and grammar in word excel check your desired options and click on ok. Before pressing f7 or the spelling button right click on any sheet tab and click select all sheets. As mentioned above word automatically checks your content and grammar as you type those.
Clicking this option will initiate the spell checking. In the autocorrect dialog check the options as you need.
