Spell Check Excel For Ipad
Spell check is working in word and power point just not excel.
Spell check excel for ipad. On a phone tap the edit icon and then tap home review spelling. Tap tap settings then tap auto correction. Using office 365 but there is no spell check icon in the review tab in excel.
By default excel only looks at a single sheet when checking spelling. Tap tap settings then tap auto correction. Clicking this option will initiate the spell checking.
With your excel spreadsheet opened simply navigate to the review tab in the ribbon. So i will suggest that when you are using ipad for your excel you can follow step 2. You can also choose to turn other automatic keyboard settings like auto capitalization and predictive word suggestions on or off.
Tap a misspelled word then tap the correct spelling. To spell check words in a formula bar select the words. Tap a misspelt word then tap the correct spelling.
Before pressing f7 or the spelling button right click on any sheet tab and click select all sheets. As you type ios marks any words it suspects with a red dotted underline. If you select multiple cells excel checks spelling only for those cells.
You can then tap on the underlined word and select from a few options that the device though you actually meant. Turn on check spelling then tap the document to close the controls. When a word is spelled incorrectly the ios device will underline it in red.
