Add Spelling Checker To Outlook
Click the spelling and autocorrect button in the compose messages section.
Add spelling checker to outlook. In the outlook options dialog click mail from left pane and go to the compose messages section check always check spelling before sending checkbox. Go to mail compose and reply. And make sure the box always check spelling before sending has a tick.
In the editor options dialog box to turn off the check spelling feature please uncheck the check spelling as you type option. If you re using windows 10 select start settings devices typing and then search for autocorrect misspelled words and highlight misspelled words. When your message is composed on the message ribbon select the review tab.
Turn on both settings. The spelling and grammar dialog box launches. When the completed check message appears click ok.
Fine tune your settings. If your web browser doesn t have a spellchecker you can search the internet to check if there is a spellchecker add in available for your browser. For example when you type the word of colour in the british way in an email this word will be marked as misspelling as below screenshot shown.
When checking spelling and grammar automatically right click the word with the red squiggly line and then click add to dictionary. Under microsoft editor go to microsoft editor settings. Switch options on and off for the corrections and refinements you want.
In the proofing group select spelling grammar. Enter your outlook login click on your file tab top left of screen and then click on options. In the outlook options dialog box please click the mail in the left bar.
